The last destination is Schlossplatz, the main area of Stuttgart. In Winter, Christmas markets will be set up at the large square. There are many places to visit from here, generally towards the Southwest:
Take a short walk to the east and come up close to the exterior of Neues Schloss Castle, a palace built in 1807 for Duke Charles Eugene of Württemberg. Schlossplatz is actually the palace's square and it was not opened to the public until mid 19th century.

If you're going on a Saturday, be sure to check out this square across the road. It holds a flea market only on Saturdays and closes early at 4pm.
If you've missed out on the flea market, there is street market further to the west that also operates at a square. It is open twice a week, 24 hours. Christmas markets are set up here as well.
Down south is a market hall that sells a combination of local and imported fresh food products and specialties. They are great for souvenirs.
